Pre Christmas and Phil

Hey Ya'll Happy New Year, finally getting into gear and uploading the pics from our festive season. Before we took off on Christmas Eve we got together with Deans family, opened some presents and had a big bbq. We got to meet Phil and Edwina, Dean's bro from Sydney and his lovely lady. It was a great experience!

So many Christmas partys for one little boy

It's been a busy couple of weeks, but lotsa fun too

Our Playgroup Christmas party

Mainly Music Christmas party, all the kids got a present from Santa, they had a jumpy castle too

Our church creche gave the kiddies a book each and put on a lovely morning tea

Daycare Christmas party, the older kids put on a show, Infant care where Nathan is did a song, This was Nathans face throughout.
They also put on a morning tea, yum. It was also the only time Nathan didn't freak out on Santa, because Santa had a lolly.

Chicken Pox & Nectarines

Nathan got the chicken pox a couple of weeks ago, I was really dreading him getting them but he did really well, other than the spots there were no other signs he was unwell. I think it is true that they don't suffer as much when they are little.

Trip to Chipmunks

Last Thursday Nathan and I met up with Talei and Cadence for a catch up. We were going to go to a park but the weather was pretty bad. Going to Chipmunks worked out cool coz the boys played nicely the whole 2.5 hours while we had a coffee and chatted... Nice.
Here are our curly topped, straight haired, gorgeous boys.

Deans Birthday Weekend

Last weekend for Dean's birthday we went camping at Tawharanui. It was a nice weekend. The whanau came up with the fishing torpedo, so they put that out a couple of times. We got about 5 snapper, 4 small ones, and one rather big one, the pics don't do it justice really.

The beach at Tawharanui, Dean went for a snorkle and as it is a marine reserve there he saw lots of cool fish.

Alicia and the kids building a sand castle

One of the smaller fish just fit in our pan, yum!

Birthday pics

Yesterday I turned 31!! So i'm in my thirties now. Had a good day. Started off at playgroup where I gave some of my brochures out to the mums there. Then Lisa bought some coffee and cake over, and Dean bought home some lunch. Then Nathan took me to the zoo, well I took him :)

Up close and personal with Oz the tiger from Israel, we helped bring him over by buying a $10 tiger tail, which in turn helped us win an electric guitar (see blog way further down)

The Cowley's Housewarming

On Saturday we ventured out South to Manurewa to visit Donna and Ali's new house. It was great to catch up with them and see the lovely house they've bought. The kids had a great time tearing around the place, I also had a great time eating Donna's divine Chocolate brownies!!
