A week in the Mount

Hi all. Well Nathan and I are having a lovely week in the Mount. Meanwhile Dean is at home trying to get rid of his cold before joining us on the weekend to catch up with Paul and Mary who are over from Brisbane. Last weekend we went to Taupo to visit Nana and Pa, so Nathan could finally meet them, his great grandparents.





Here's Nathan after discovering his Poppa's Pineapple Lumps, he ran from the bedroom into the kitchen and hid in the corner so no one could take it off him.





Today was the Tsunami false alarm. I tell you the Mount wouldn't be the greatest place to be during a tsunami, Nathan woke up extra early this morning so we could turn on the telly to see the news. We didn't panic and run for the hills, maybe we should have just in case, I know some people did. Anyway it is a beautiful day, so we went and had our lunch at the beach.
